Reporting to the Manager Lease Administration, the Business Partner, Lease Administration is responsible for managing and analyzing all agreements for the implementation and maintenance of wireless and wired telecommunications sites, as well as those of the larger Quebecor family. He or she also ensures that systems are updated to maintain the smooth operation of the company's real estate operations while scrutinizing processes to continuously improve our ways of doing business. 

  • Manage a multi-million-dollar portfolio of wireless and wired leases, as well as those of the larger Quebecor family, ensuring that you act efficiently and rigorously to comply with the terms and conditions and deadlines set out in these leases (renewal, notice, rent payment, increases, management of electricity consumption and property taxes, etc.). 
  • Raise issues and work to optimize management tools to ensure data integrity and consistency in order to obtain accurate indicators for management; 
  • Understand the needs of internal and/or external clients in order to validate, explain, or consolidate all information required to maintain a healthy business relationship; 
  • Produce reports to ensure that each location has a valid agreement or lease, if required.  Identify inconsistencies and correct them; 
  • Understand and analyze our electricity consumption data to meet our contractual obligations and budgetary expectations;  
  • Understand and analyze our municipal and school tax accounts to ensure that we pay the correct amount for each location and maintain good relations with stakeholders in the various municipalities; 
  • Collect and reconcile invoices with payments received from other operators and forward everything to the accounts receivable department; 
  • Regularly generate reports for various departments within the company (Finance, Project Management, etc.) to provide up-to-date information on costs by site, region, etc. 
  • Support colleagues in analyzing problematic files in order to propose solutions that meet company standards. 
  • Assist your manager with non-standard assignments. 
  • Provide training for new recruits, while ensuring ongoing training for team members. 
  • Actively participate in various committees during significant changes related to contract management, such as a new accounting standard (e.g., IFRS16). 

Qualifications

  • College diploma in management and/or administration or equivalent combination of training and experience; 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications or building or lease management would be an asset; 
  • Good writing skills; 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in various circumstances and good judgment in organizing time and tasks; 
  • Be proactive; 
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written);
  • Intermediate level of French (spoken and written) would be an asset;
  • Proficiency in MS Office software in a Windows environment and SAP financial software;
