Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, Colocation, the Business Partner, Colocation is responsible for coordinating and tracking all outgoing colocation requests necessary for the construction of the wireless network to meet the objectives of the master plan. In addition, he or she will be responsible for coordinating and tracking all requests from competitors and other users to ensure the profitability of existing structures, while meeting industry deadlines and criteria. He or she may be called upon to negotiate agreements with various stakeholders for the benefit of the wireless network.
- Oversee all stages of the colocation process (outgoing/incoming) and ensure that thenecessary and relevant information is communicated to external operators.
- Raise any irregularities in the various requests processed with the relevant teammembers;
- Come up with innovative and creative ideas to improve the efficiency and profitability ofour tower fleet;
- Interpret and analyze results (rent, deadlines, revenue, profitability of structures, etc.) incollaboration with the Manager, Colocation;
- Ensure that colocation projects are monitored with team members and communicate anyconcerns or delays, if applicable;
- Produce the colocation reports required by the company within the specified deadlinesand identify any issues that could hinder the achievement of the company's objectives;
- Master all colocation files in order to be able to respond appropriately to managementrequests;
- Develop and establish relationships of trust with external clients;
- Understand and interpret the clauses of various contracts (lease, license, conditional andfinal approval, easement, etc.) in order to conclude agreements that meet companystandards.
- Negotiate agreements with landlords for the company's various needs;
- Ensure that databases are up to date.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field;
- Writing skills;
- Skilled in negotiating agreements and good communication skills;
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a major asset;
- Proficiency in software: Windows environment.
